We have a modern and well-equipped neonatal unit which provides wide range of specialist and general services. The neonatal unit is specially designed and equipped for babies needing extra medical and nursing care. The neonatal unit at Shohada hospital aims to provide the very best treatment and care possible for babies. The team consists of dedicated doctors and nurses working together to provide high quality, individual, family-centered care for all the babies on the unit.

Neonatal team

The multi-disciplinary team includes:

Full-time Neonatologists, with 1 present on the unit at all times

Neonatal Fellow

This unit is different in terms of the following:

Up-to-date equipment

High survival rate of premature infants

Post-discharge specialized care

Continuous psychological support for parents

24 hour visit for mothers & once a day for fathers

Existence of most experienced neonatal teams

Holding regular education sessions for parents

Large and comfortable space
